Yesterday we took a three hour bus from Campeche to get here and we were super excited to explore

this city, not only because it's supposed to be beautiful, but because we're staying

this incredible home so last year for our combined birthday gifts my parents gave us an airbnb gift

card and we've been holding on to it to look for a unique place to stay but everything that we found

has been either too expensive or not special enough we didn't want to blow it all in one night

but we also wanted it to be memorable so when we saw this place and we saw it was 1 45 a night

we jumped in right away because believe it or not our job can be a little bit stressful sometimes

don't get us wrong we love it but we never have time to disconnect and relax and then we found

this house in merida and we saw it had this amazing private pool and we said this is the

The first thing you notice when you open the doors

is that the house is so bright and happy and it's filled with color so yesterday when we got in like

the first thing we noticed was this painting of Frida and we never get a place that has painting

on the wall so it just I don't know it just felt like a home. Then we have the dining room with

in the entire house. And I mean, look at this bedroom. It has a stone wall, beautiful paintings

like these super cool lamps, hanging plants. However, we are on a very busy street

and this room faces the straight direction. so it is also the loudest room
