When we booked this stay, we were hoping to learn more about farm life and how people live in a small Albanian village. But we could have never anticipated what happened! We were adopted by an Albanian family!!! ❤️ This is honestly why we travel - it's all about the people for us. We slow travel because we like to leave the door open for opportunities to connect with the locals and learn from them. And it is exactly what happened!
