SIGHETU MARMATIEI 🇷🇴 | TRADITIONAL ROMANIAN FOODS & MORE! off the beaten path in Northern Romania!

We made it to Northern Romania! 🇷🇴 We even saw Ukraine from our train, which felt pretty surreal honestly... 🤯 Sighetu Marmatiei (Sighet) is exactly the type of place we love discovering whenever we are in a new country. Not a lot of other tourist know about it, so we end up basically being the only ones and it really gives us a true sense of what life is like... in a raw way, unspoiled by mass tourism. Don't get us wrong, we love most touristy places too, but having the time and flexibility to spend some time in places like this, definitely feels special 💕 We learned more about communism in Romania, tried delicious Romanian foods we hadn't tried yet and also learned about Jewish history in this part of Romania.
